6-8 Days with mandatory acclimatization for your safety
Most trips start with 1-2 days in Leh itself for acclimatization — this matters more than people expect, since altitude sickness is a real risk if you rush straight to higher elevations.
From Leh, common extensions include Nubra Valley via Khardung La, Pangong Lake, and Tso Moriri for those with extra days.
A well-paced Ladakh trip typically runs 6-8 days including acclimatization time.
Arrive in Leh at 11,500 ft. Complete rest, light sightseeing: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Local Market. Hydrate well. No high passes for 48 hours.
Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Alchi Monastery. Easy day to adjust further before going higher.
Drive to Nubra via Khardung La 18,380 ft. Visit Diskit Monastery, Hunder Sand Dunes & Double Hump Camels. Overnight in Nubra.
Drive to Pangong via Shyok Route. Spend evening at the blue lake. Overnight in camps near Pangong.
Drive back to Leh. Evening free for shopping at Leh Market. Pack and prepare for departure.
For those with extra days, add Tso Moriri Lake. Less crowded, equally stunning. Requires 2 more days.

Ladakh’s terrain demands a properly maintained SUV — we don’t run sedans on these routes regardless of group size, since road conditions and altitude make it impractical and unsafe.
Vehicles assigned to Ladakh trips get additional pre-trip checks given the remoteness of some stretches.
Mobile network coverage is limited or absent across large stretches of Ladakh, particularly toward Pangong and Nubra.
Certain areas (Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri) require Inner Line Permits for domestic tourists and additional documentation for foreign nationals.
